Frequently asked questions

Does this shoe run true to size?

Birkenstock's fit guide covers width: a solid footprint printed on the footbed means narrow, and an outlined footprint means regular. New pairs can feel roomy, since the design lets your toes spread. Kids' feet grow fast, so bring your child in to be measured. Try it on at our Kissimmee store. Walk in anytime.

Is it waterproof?

Yes. Birkenstock describes this as waterproof, quick-drying EVA.

How do I clean it?

Rinse it and wipe it with a wet sponge or cloth. Birkenstock warns that EVA can shrink at high temperatures, so keep it away from hot cars and dryers.

How do I keep it from smelling?

EVA is odor-neutral and washable. Rinse it after the beach or pool and let it dry fully.

What is it made of?

The upper is one-piece EVA. The footbed is EVA.

What support does it offer?

The anatomical Birkenstock footbed shape is molded in soft, shock-absorbing EVA.

Is it good for the beach or pool?

Yes. Birkenstock describes its EVA sandals as waterproof, lightweight and quick-drying, so they suit pool, beach and wet days.
