Frequently asked questions

Does this sandal run true to size?

Teva doesn't publish a true-to-size rating. Use Teva's free True Fit tool and Size Guide, or try it on at our Kissimmee store. Walk in anytime.

Is it waterproof?

Teva doesn't call it waterproof, but it lists the Voya Flip as best for water activities and everyday wear. The straps are quick-dry recycled webbing, so it's fine at the beach or pool and dries fast.

How do I clean it?

Hand wash in lukewarm water with mild soap and a soft brush. Don't machine wash, and avoid bleach and harsh solvents. Air dry in the shade, away from heaters and long direct sun.

How do I keep it from smelling?

It's treated with a peppermint-based anti-odor finish called Life Natural. Rinse after salt water, pools, mud or heavy sweat, and dry fully before storing. For lingering odor, Teva suggests sprinkling baking soda on the footbed for 8-24 hours.

What is it made of? Is it vegan?

The straps are 100% REPREVE recycled plastic. The footbed is Teva's Mush topsole, and the outsole is lightweight EVA foam. Teva lists it as vegan.

How cushioned is it?

The Mush topsole cushions and forms to your foot. Arch support isn't listed for this style, so ask us in store if you need more arch.

Is it good for all-day wear?

Teva lists it for everyday wear. It's very light, and the soft topsole molds to your foot. If you need strong arch support for long days on your feet, ask us about options in store.
