Birkenstock says to clean nubuck stains with its Footbed and Shoe Dry Cleaner, then protect it with its Footbed and Shoe Protector, applied with the applicator brush. Don't soak it or machine wash it.

Air the footbeds regularly. Birkenstock says that prevents odors from building up with moisture.

The upper is oiled nubuck leather. The insole is nappa leather. The footbed is cork-latex. The outsole is EVA.
