Frequently asked questions

Which shoes do these fit?

Aetrex lists: walking shoes, hiking boots, golf shoes and sneakers. Bring your shoes in and we'll check the fit.

How do I pick my size?

Measure heel-to-toe length while standing, in the socks you'll wear. Aetrex recommends sizing up if you're between sizes.

What are they made of?

The top cover is CopperGuard antimicrobial lining. The cushioning is Pro-Shox polyurethane. The base is Aerocell polyurethane. Thickness: 0.22".

What arch type are they for?

These are for medium to high arches (Aetrex's 00 and 05 styles).

Do they have metatarsal support?

Yes. This style adds metatarsal support under the ball of the foot.

How do I clean them?

Spot-clean with mild soap and a damp cloth, then air dry. Don't machine wash or dry them.

Are they good for running?

No. Aetrex says the Compete line isn't designed for running and recommends its L700 Speed Orthotics for that.
