No. The straps are quick-dry recycled webbing, and the rubberised outsole grips on wet and dry surfaces.

How do I clean it?

Hand wash in lukewarm water with mild soap and a soft brush. Don't machine wash. Air dry in the shade, away from heaters and long direct sun.

How do I keep it from smelling?

Rinse after salt water, pools, mud or heavy sweat, and dry fully before storing. For lingering odor, Teva suggests sprinkling baking soda on the footbed for 8-24 hours.
