Frequently asked questions

How does it fit, and what size should I order?

The listing says two adjustable hook-and-loop straps with a decorative buckle. It lists a 1 in heel and 6.8 oz per shoe. The listing doesn't give a size chart. Ask us in store. Walk in anytime and we'll fit you in person.

Can I use my own orthotics?

The listing says it has the Taos SOFT SUPPORT footbed with Cool Recovery Foam under an embossed microfiber footbed cover. It doesn't say whether the footbed is removable or fits custom orthotics. Ask us in store.

How do I clean it?

For the leather upper, Taos says to wipe off surface dirt with a soft dry cloth, then a soft damp cloth. You can condition with a leather cream and buff, but test any cream or polish on a small hidden area first because some products can darken or discolor leather. For the microfiber footbed, Taos says to rub the stain with a clean cloth and a small amount of antibacterial cleanser, wipe off residue with a damp cloth, and let it dry completely before wearing.

What is it made of?

The upper is metallic leather with a leather lining. The footbed cover is embossed microfiber treated with an antimicrobial shield, and the outsole is rubber.

How cushioned is it?

The listing describes shock-absorbing Cool Recovery Foam with arch support.

Is it slip-resistant?

The listing describes a flexible, durable rubber outsole that adds grip. It doesn't give a slip-resistance rating.

Can I adjust the fit?

The listing says it has two adjustable straps.
