Frequently asked questions

How does this sandal fit, and what size should I order?

OOFOS says it runs true to size with most other footwear brands. If you wear a whole size in other brands, order the same whole size. If you wear a half size, women should order a size up and men should order a size down. Walk in anytime and we'll fit you in person.

Does it have arch support, and can I wear it with my own orthotics?

The listing describes arch support with natural motion, plus an extra 15mm of impact absorption. The listing doesn't say it fits an orthotic. Ask us in store.

How do I clean it?

The listing says it's machine washable. OOFOS says to use the gentle cycle with mild detergent, or wipe it clean with a damp cloth. Air dry.

What is it made of?

The footbed is OOfoam, OOFOS's proprietary closed-cell foam. It also has a MEGA OOfoam midsole.

How cushioned is it?

OOFOS says OOfoam absorbs 37% more impact than traditional footwear foam. That is OOFOS's own claim. A 15mm MEGA OOfoam midsole adds extra impact absorption.

Does it help with odor?

The listing describes OOfoam as a closed-cell foam that resists odor. OOFOS says it doesn't hold moisture or bacteria.

Can I wear it around water?

OOFOS says its shoes even float in water. The listing doesn't give a slip-resistance rating for the outsole. Ask us in store.
